When I ran for Miss Minnesota USA in 2017, I reached out to Best Buddies International to see if they would be a good fit for a platform. I had seen commercials while watching Born This Way and needed to find out more.

They were so excited to hear from me because hey wanted to bring an office to my state of Minnesota.and invited me to their Annual Leadership conference at Indiana University.It was one of the most amazing things that I had every experienced.

Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
